Samson Chen
Sam was born in Manchester, England to Jamaican-Chinese parents and is part of a family of 12
children as well as being married to Natalie Chen.
Sam was saved in 1984, after attending a Billy Graham Crusade at Anfield, Liverpool and has been a born-Again Christian for almost 40 years.
He started his ministry as a Children’s Sunday School Teacher then went on to be a Youth Pastor
before being ordained in 1990 - where he was sent to pastor his first church in Sale, Cheshire at the
age of 24yrs.
After leaving pastoring in 1997, Sam became the first Director of the National Outreach Ministries
for COGOP (UK) for 20 years, and went on to be a co-founder (along with Bishop Tedroy M Powell) of
the "Missions Experience School".
The school was launched in 2003 in London and from this base became mobile, traveling both
nationally and internationally providing teaching and training to believers passionate about
missions.
Sam’s mission trips have included visits to:
Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Spain, Cyprus, Poland, Finland,
Macedonia, Malta, India, Egypt & Barbados.
Sam presently serves as a TSM Tutor (Bedford), Director of Inkwell Bible School (Manchester), as
well as a Tutor & UK Dean for Spirit & Life Seminary (CoGoP).
Sam's ministerial training includes the Timothy School of Ministry (TSM) as well as graduating from
the “Word of Life Bible School” (Sweden); He has received his Theological Masters Degree from
Gordon -Conwell Theological Seminary (Boston, USA).
Sam is a professional fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor, who works full time for The
Salvation Army in the North West; he enjoys playing football, badminton, pool and is also a former
Black Belt in Kung Fu (achieved at age 17).
Sam greatly loves the Lord Jesus and continues to be a faithful servant to Christ, His church and His
Kingdom. And of course, is a Manchester City Supporter!

Monica Dunkley
Minister Monica Dunkley with Bishop Tedroy Powell is associate Pastor to Senior Pastor Sam Chen at Restoration House, Firswood in Region 6. She has been wmember of COGOP for over 30yrs, and has served in many different areas of the Church. She has been Prayer Coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, and National and Local Ushers Coordinator.
Currently Minister Monica Dunkley sits on the Local Church Finance Team,Ministery Leaders Team and Church Eldership Team. She Preaches and teaches in the Local Church, and is part of the Regional Governance Committee. She is also a Cell Leader, Cell Coach, and District Head Steward. Minister Monica’s desire is to serve God and His people to the best of her ability. To God be all the Glory.

Bishop Tedroy Powell
Bishop Tedroy M Powell has served as Senior Pastor of the House of Bread, Church of God of Prophecy, since 1989. He is married to Alyne, who is an experienced Counsellor and who has successfully completed her Diploma in Counselling. They have been married for 41 years and blessed with three children; Anthea, Anthony and Julian; two daughter-in-law’s Natalie and Louise and four grandchildren; Josiah, Amari, Joelle and Tyhla.
His pastoral tenure has been productive in both Coventry and London. The House of Bread, Kitto Road, London, has experienced wave after wave of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit with many souls being saved and added to the church. His focus on intentional discipleship has produced quantitative and qualitative growth in the churches where he has pastored. He has also established a Social Enterprise, registered as Hillview Community Services, which provides Educational support to its community.
Through the vision of Bishop Powell House of Bread has planted a Hispanic church in two locations and fostered a partnership with a Burmese congregation. He was appointed as National Overseer for Belgium and Netherlands in 2004. During that time he has planted four churches in these countries. In addition to this, he has recommended, provided training and development for nine ministers, who are now fully licensed and serving as Pastors. His Spiritual gifting has made room for him to minister in various denominations and countries such as Nigeria, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, United Sates and across Europe and the CIS countries.
